“Words are not enough to express how fortunate I am for having been given this opportunity to study in one of the best universities in the country”

“I would like to extend my gratitude to the AASA for taking me in as one of their scholars. Words are not enough to express how fortunate I am for having been given this opportunity to study in one of the best universities in the country. May God continue to bless you as you continue your work of helping scholars like me make their dreams come true.”
- Janel Favila
Jan Lorraine Favila is a 4th year BS Management Engineering student and is an AASA scholar. Here, she tells us why she chose Ateneo over other schools and what her plans are after graduating. She also gives thanks to AASA and the benefactors for granting her a scholarship.
I chose to study in Ateneo not only because of the high quality of education it offers its students, but more importantly because it forms students into persons who will live a life of service to others, especially those who are in need and later on, will contribute greatly to the development of our nation as a whole.
After I graduate, I plan to work for a multinational company for 2-3 years and then pursue further studies abroad.
I would like to extend my gratitude to the AASA for taking me in as one of their scholars. Words are not enough to express how fortunate I am for having been given this opportunity to study in one of the best universities in the country. May God continue to bless you as you continue your work of helping scholars like me make their dreams come true.
The Gift of An Ateneo Education
The Ateneo Alumni Scholars Association (ASF-AASA) would like to share an opportunity for you to give a gift that you also once received! The gift of an Ateneo education offers students a chance to develop in an environment which fosters academic, social, and spiritual growth. Such an environment instills core values and ideals which are essential characteristics of responsible leaders and nation builders. Supporting an Ateneo scholarship means offering deserving students the opportunity to make a significant impact as 'men and women for others.'
