FEBRUARY

The Piggy Bank Program

Every year, just before graduation, the Office of Admission and Aid (OAA) holds a talk with graduating seniors. We take part in this talk to introduce the Piggy Bank Program. The piggy bank symbolizes the mindset of AASA that everyone can give. It gives the young scholar a chance to give back right after graduation.

MARCH

Thanksgiving Lunch

Annually, AASA holds a Thanksgiving Lunch for scholars and benefactors. This event gives the AASA benefactors an opportunity to meet the AASA scholars. Also, it gives the AASA scholar an opportunity to express their gratitude to the benefactors by means of a simple program.

JUNE

Ateneo Scholars Party

In June 2008, AASA joined forces with Gabay to organize an event called ‘Scholars Acquaintance Party’. The aim of the event was to welcome freshman scholars to the community. In the recent years, it has been renamed to ‘Ateneo Scholars Party’ because AASA and Gabay have recognized the need to not only welcome freshman scholars but to also strengthen the ties of current scholars in the Ateneo.

DECEMBER
